Meet John Blydenburgh
Shandaken resident for over 40 years.As a youngster, I played on a Shandaken Little League team, and Boy Scouts Troop 60. Altarboy at St Francis Desales Catholic church for 4 years.. Attended and worked for the Shandaken Recreation program .
Attended Phoenicia Elementary and graduated from Onteora High school.
Member of the Ulster County Sheriffs Dept. Member of the Son's of American Legion Post 950 and the current adjutant of the group.
Owned and operated Resort Ridge Pizza, before selling in April 2020.
Presently working for the Town of Shandaken highway department .
Avid fisherman of the Esopus Creek and all our other Catskill mountain trout fisheries. Love to play golf.
I am most proud of raising my three wonderful sons and am lucky to be with Lisa, my partner of twelve years.
